This interactive button animation was a small but delightful exploration in expressive motion and playful form. Built as a modular button system in Rive, the idea was to turn a static symbol into something tactile and alive with each tile subtly squishes, reacts, and settles with a satisfying sense of weight, making the interaction feel almost toy-like.
The illustration style stays intentionally simple and bold, allowing motion to do the storytelling: gentle bounces to signal press, soft easing to convey elasticity, and micro-delays that add charm without noise. The result is a compact animation that celebrates clarity, personality, and joy. It's proof that even the smallest UI elements can have character when motion and illustration work together.
